I go by Coin Collector 2.0 [CoinCollector2.0]. I have been attracted to the world of coin collecting, since the age of 4. Back in the days, I had no idea what coin collecting is, or if there is a collecting universe out there? As a kid, I was attracted to the pictures & design on the coins, especially the shiny ones. When I went to school for the first time at the age of 4: I was handed an award of $1500.00 cash, at the end of the school year. I wasn’t sure, why I have got the cash award then I thought, I might’ve been a very good student; or I might’ve done something extra ordinary in order to, get such enormous amount, but later on my parents found out that the award was for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd position. Till this day, I am not sure which one was mine? Our school was about 20 minutes walking distance from our home. Anyways, upon receiving the cash reward on my way home, I was flipping the notes up and down, and I was wondering how these notes were made? Came home, gave the money to my Moma, and she was really happy for it as well. She was proud of me I could tell, and tapped me on my shoulder as an way to go feeling. After that, I started learning what money was, and why people need them? In doing so, that’s where my attentiveness started for coin collecting. On the other hand; coin collecting expends my knowledge about the past = history. Each coin was produced in a particular period, and pretext. Which staggers me by doing research about it, and finding out the fiddlesticks of that era. Furthermore; For about 7 years, I Volunteered with USO Southeast Asia, and won the Texas hold 'em up Poker championship as well, in the USO poker tournament during my service in Southeast Asia , and as a champion I got a Texas hold ‘em up champion USO T-shirt in reward.
Over the years, I have collected some amazing coins, bank notes etc, and they are yet to be graded, and attributed by the grading companies.
What attracts me the most towards a coin is the organic toning of the coin, which is out of this world, and priceless.
In conclusion: I mostly admire, & collect coins of those who were good people, who were real not materialistic, who stood up for the right attributes and right mainspring in the history; those who are still alive in the heart of humanity, and brought positive amendments, and gave a new way to the narrow minded people in order to, look at the world, and humanity, in a constructive metamorphose context, despite their race, colour, religion etc.
Sincerely,
