Just introducing myself as a new member. I joined the club yesterday but have not received my member number yet. I have been collecting since I was a kid. I took a hiatus for a while, but have picked up the bug in a big way again these last few years, while getting my son interested in the hobby. He loves it as well which is just awesome! I collect all US coinage, some world stuff, but mainly US. Been real into lincoln cents lately, but love all of it. Trying to hone my skills identifying errors and varieties, which is why I decided to join the club. Looking forward to being part of the community!

CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.
