Hello Coneca Community from central Arizona! I hope to soon be a Coneca member as I've signed up for annual membership. I've been collecting for 5 years & hoping to learn from some the best here on Coneca. I started collecting & learning from pocket change & a few good finds. I got more serious when I received a collection from my grandmother that consisted of a couple hundred coins, lots of Kennedy halves, Franklin Halves, Morgan's & Peace Dollars. I recently purchased a small collection locally that consisted of mostly Civil War era coins & some US. So I Thank You in advance for your time & nuismatic knowledge...

CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.
