CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Intro to Ryan

    Man, that was an adventure and a procedure to find you guys and get in here to ask a some questions and learn more..... a registration procedure that only a numismatic would ever create...Very confusing...Anyhow, I've been learning about coins for about a year now through trial and error. I'm not a paying member and probably will not be until I'm more educated in the area, the veterans can be quite forgetting that they were a beginner once too..I look forward to meeting some of you and I look forward to my first post ...a possible first find.
