CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Newbie saying hi

    Hello!!! My name is Andrew and I'm a new member to the forum and I've been half heartedly collecting change for 10 years (you know the basic oooo that's pretty it must be worth a ton! Haha when it was only a decent unc coin worth only face) and I actually started truly collecting errors only 8 months ago. I've learned a ton along the way and I'm trying to soak up that much more. I am looking forward to learning as much of the content available by CONECA and it's members. I am not a paying member yet but do want to become one in the future for the broader access to more resources. I appreciate everyones time, help and patience in advance. With that being said this newbie says hi!
