CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    hello all.
    I'm a newbie in all aspects to coin collecting/hunting etc... I have been collecting loose change for a few years as of just putting anything older then myself into a jug. Just learning how and what to look for to make coins more valuable, so I hope I don't offend anybody with my stupid questions. This site seems to be a good source of knowledge and I'm trying to learn all that I can.
    I'm always looking for advise so please feel free to put your 2 cents in, (pun intended) sorry I couldn't help myself....
