CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    I’m so glad to be apart of the CONECA community! I’m interested in all American coins with main interest being quarters. I enjoy looking for errors, it occupies my time as I’m disabled and
    no longer teach which was my passion. I live on the east coast and get tons of Philadelphia coins and would like to find someone on the west coast who would like to trade Philadelphias for Denvers.

    I am on the east coast, in Virginia.
    Keep an eye on eye Maya quarters, some are finding doubled die varieties associated with her earrings.
    I currently do not collect quarters, unless the are really great looking errors, like a quarter struck on a wrong planchet.
