CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    Hello to all!
my name is Rusty, i started collecting coins about 2 years ago when i was intrigued by the no mint mark S dime. From going through pocket change to bank roll hunting, then onto buying mostly silver coins from local listings.

I enjoy looking for errors however until recently the tools i had to do so were not up to par to find anything worth mentionmentioning.

There's so much information about different errors and varieties that google becomes just a headache! my recent find has lead me to hopefully my new go to home for information and turn into an inside member!

Thank you all and happy hunting!

Welcome aboard, we look forward to helping as much as we can.
Sounds like your having fun, and that is important.

To add to your references, on the main page of this forum, all the way to the bottom are some of the better websites for errors and varieties.

      Happy hunting !
