CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Hey Texas junkie....welcome to the Forum. Regarding who to send your coins to, please contact Jason Cuvelier at CONECA. His email address is cuvelier@aya.yale.edu Are you into errors or varieties, or both?

Thank you for the info, I get a email off to Mr Cuvelier with a few pictures to see if they are interesting enough to warrant mailing for close inspection. I've sent a set to PCGS but wasn't happy with results, but I'm not anywhere close to being a novice expert. Two received questionable color, they hadn't been out of the mint wrapped (brown Envelope) since 1962. And looking at true view examples, mine were identical,so I missed something. Thought it a better idea to have expert to examine first, before submit anymore. Thanks again.
And or errors or varieties, not picky, love em both.
