CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    Greetings from sunny Puerto Rico!

I am relatively new to coin collecting and enjoy searching for coin errors. I look forward to gaining more knowledge from CONECA and it's members.

Hello, my name is Monica. I am a stay at home mother of three residing in northern Utah. I’ve been coin collecting for a few years now and have accumulated many from simple change as well as purchases on eBay winning a bid or two. I’ve dedicated myself to finding errors and have a small collection I think you all will find interesting. I purchased membership and look forward to learning all I can with the help from the best suitable, knowledgeable and professional coin hoarders out there! ( no disrespect intended ) I jokingly say this but the reality is is that I’m impressed that I found something significant to be part of in which I enjoy and love to do, so thank you kindly for the opportunity.

Welcome aboard - both of you. Typically the staff (not me) at CONECA like to have people start their own post when introducing or asking questions about a coin they own. It cuts down on confusion.
