Hello. I am new to the forum. I have been collecting in earnest for probably 3 to 4 years now. What started it all was the different sound I heard when quarters in my change rattled together. Growing up I loved to read books so much that I would get in trouble for it at school. Since history class had been one of my favorite subjects, this new hobby seemed to me like a natural fit. After reading a few books, I was/am intrigued about error coins. I believe I may have found a unlisted doubled die and will post pics in the appropriate place. I tried to see if there was a listing for it and did not find one but that doesn't mean much as I'm not the best at doing internet searches.

CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.
