CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    Welcome aboard

You can show photos in the appropriate area here and let people offer their opinions under the variety forum.

Or, you can cut to the chase and go to the forum main page.

    Look for CONECA services.
Under the attributions area you can place avpost which you and the Coneca staff can see it. I strongly suggest you put as much info about the coin that you can on the firstbpost. This way the attributers only have to make one pass with that info, to decide if they want to attribute it at CONECA in hand or, offer an explanation of what is going on.

Photos here have to be under 2mb each. You can post up tom8 photos in the initial post, and if you reply to your post you can add 8 more per reply. The width of the pages are 800 pixels so anything under that seems good.

Clear photos outweigh blurry ones. Not too much light, but enough to clearly see the areas you describe.

Again, load that initial post with as much data as you can.

    Good luck and Happy hunting.
