My name is Chad Page and I am from the most northern region of New York state. I am currently employed with the department of corrections in Saranac lake. I am relatively new to the collector world and extremely excited about joining.

I started paying attention to coins one day when I was hanging out with my 90 year old grandmother. She ended up breaking out her purse of all sorts of different coins. A few Morgan dollars, peace dollars and wheat pennies. But what she really had the most of were Jefferson nickels. She had abput 2 dozen Buffalo nickels, a bit worn, and a good dozen and a half War Nickels. She didn't even know what she had. I started researching and rummaging through the nickels and I come across a 1939 P. I started looking, and again I am new, and I think she has a double die. It looks just like the picture in the red book. Might show that later. Her Morgan dollar is also a mis stamp. It has a very faint "E" on the Obverse side.
. In the end, my grandmother is the reason I collect coins now. And Jefferson nickels are my go to collector coins. There is much more I could tell you about me, but that would take forever.
