CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Hello all......

    Hello all. Although not new to CONECA I am new to the forum. I will be helping with Varity attributions. I have collected coins since 1982 and varieties and errors since 1998. I have written articles, given presentations, taught a ANA summer seminar class on varieties and errors, and worked with many Facebook groups, the ANA, and CONECA. I am a district rep for CONECA and the ANA, President of the Ocala Coin Club, and have been on the board of CONECA for 2 terms. I hope to help out the club and all of the members. Enjoy...
