CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    Hello,
I'm Matteo an Italian numismatic hobbist with passion for medieval and US coins mainly. I'm not a paying member of CONECA (at least for now, we'll see in future) but I'd like to gain some knowledge from you guys and share some of my finds/doubts in case.

    Cheers,
    Matteo

Hi and thanks, to be honest I like the whole period but I like most UK and Venetian coins of such period. I have plenty of venetian ones and very few ok UK. I have also some Livonia and Poland late medieval early new age ones. And actually many Austrian early 17th century.
I don't have a precise period I like to collect at the end. I collect what I like mainly related to the design and or historical stories. I know it is a bit fuzzy but that's me
