CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    received_1006359060411035.jpeg not sure on how to post specific questions in this forum so if this is the wrong way please let me know. The guestion I have concerns some Kanata Ole quarters I have..I have some with the A and K having issues..but these two are way beyond that. The word Edith on the reverse is really messed up and even through the river that flows by her hair..close inspection seems to show some kind of error. The reason I'm so sure this is an error is because iv had one of these coins for three months trying to figure out what is going on with it and the second one I found in a coin roll this last Friday. The coin rolls were from the same bank...I could see thinking the first one could possibly be pmd...however when I found the second one and saw almost the same identical damage..one has to wonder..I would love to hear everyone's opinions..I cannot tell how these pictures look before posting this so I hope they come out good enough if not I can try taking new ones and posting them in the comments TIA.
