CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    My name is Rick McKay and I am a new member N7414. I'm 72 yrs old and have a pseudonym coleringererrorcoins that i use for online sales. I'm collecting all types of errors that I believe are mint errors and am interested in the submission and examination service initially.

        Would need closer up photos and both Obverse and Revers, from what I can tell its just a circulated penny with some Die Deterioration and looks like the "L" device is faint or gone by Die Fill clogging up the cavity for the "L".
