Greetings, I'm N-7458
Hello to all, my name is Troy. I'm a disabled man with not much to do. I'm a newbie as far as varieties, paid member glad to be able to get some advice. I picked up my coin collecting hobby from first buying a few silver eagles from late night tv.(insomnia). After watching and listening to YouTube folks like blue ridge and coinhelp4u I decided to look for mint sets and occasionally a proof set. I mostly look for older sets with silver Kennedy. I usually don't have alot to spend so took a couple years to get most of the set completed.im looking forward to showing what the pacific North west has been hiding.im posting under the name Lucky pennyTags: None

Welcome aboard. There are a handful of Kennedy collectors in this forum, me being one of them. We look forward to assisting you with your coin questions.
At http://varietyvista.com you can find quite a few doubled dies and some re-punched mint marks on those Kennedy half dollars. Be mindful that doubled dies is exactly what it means. It is a working die that had multiple impressions of the coin image on it. Those imgages are sunk in or, Incused into the steel die, so it's location of the doubling isn't going to move locations.
Happy hunting.Last edited by MintErrors; 09-13-2023, 10:53 PM.Gary Kozera
