CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Hi all. I just became a member of the coneco group. When the state quarter started being issued, I started the kids out collecting the mint sets, our son came down ill and had to sell what I could, not knowing about errors and varieties. In 2017 I started getting back into coins again, and it became a whole new world. I became a member to help me get more educated on coins. Trying to get more acquainted with the attribution process. Thanks

    Welcome aboard. There are some decent people here to answer your coin related questions. As far as attributions, the http://varietyvista.com website is probably the easiest to navigate. It has a lot of information there. The Coneca website has some reference material at https://conecaonline.info

      Greetings everybody I've been out of the loop for a while and I'm now just getting back into the coin collecting I'm hoping I can pick up where I left off but it's like starting all over again hope to learn a lot from here and hello everybody
