CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Well I finally did it I joined CONECA for many reasons but mostly for my appetite and curiosity of doubled die variety and error coins. Classics to the modern always keeping an eye out for a cherrypick. My true weakness is the classics
    After surfing the CONECA website looks like a feast of information from the "In the know crowd". My user name is "hollandpoint" after my 2nd love hunting arrowheads on the Kaw River. Dont worry won't bring artifacts into a coin site LOL. Glad to be in looking forward to a deep dive into this site treasure trove of info. Happy Thanksgiving!
