CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Hi everyone! I'm new to CONECA but not new to coins. I've been collecting ever since I was a kid with my dad but have really dove in over the last 8 years. My primary focus is morgans and early 20th century coins but I am always a fan of errors and put a lot of time into educating myself. I loom forward to input from any questions I may have and will lend any knowledge if ever needed!

Welcome aboard. There are a few decent folk here that should be able to answer your coin related questions.

Morgan's are one of three types of coins I like to collect.
Others are 1964 Kennedy Halves and copper Lincoln cents.

    Happy coin hunting !
