Good evening. I recently decided to get into coin collecting or, at least started looking real hard at coins we had laying around and got bit by the bug. I was never a collector of anything except fishing rods it seems. Now all of a sudden I find myself immersed in a bunch of coins looking for those hard to find things.A buddy of mine dropped off 200 wheat pennies the other day and I have been going through them with a passion. He found them in a home he bought as a teardown earlier this year. I know the gentleman that lived there had passed over thirty years ago so he may have had some passion for collecting. I look forward to discussions here as I am a real Newby at this. I have one coin I will discuss later. Thanks for letting me in.

Thank you. I do have one 1958 wheat Pennie with I believe to be a BIE die break. It starts under the IN and continues down through the B all the way to the edge of the coin. There is also another die break ( I'm guessing ) that starts up under the T and continues down through the 9 in the date all the way through Lincolns tie and coat lapel. It is raised up several thousandths between the T and the 9 , like a small mountain range. Very interesting. I'll work on some photos.

Hello I'm Steven Hufford just joined. I been collecting for thirty years one of my first cherry picked coins was the second found and certified 1915 S Buffalo nickel RPM that's listed in the cherry pickers guild found by Norm Talbert. The last and most recent coin is a Morgan dollar in high mint state that's 1891 CC Vam #7 Spitting eagle far date. I enjoy the hobby! I live in Tulsa Oklahoma now but was from California!

What's up everyone. My names Vic I've been collecting coins going on 20+yrs. I am a registered paid member. My collection consists solely on roll hunting. Only took this serious about 2 1/2yrs ago. My collection is based on mostly the 1c with new varieties, errors, die clash mules, ddo, ddr, double ears, triple ears and double mouths to name a few. With over 800hrs and counting roll hunting, I hope to open doors for old and new coin enthusiasts alike by meticulously searching and finding multiple coins with the same designation/error etc I have mentioned.

What I believe I have are two separate dies crack's. One either side of Lincoln.
