CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • Thanks. When I was up at the ANA show in Chicago, I finally pulled the plug and bought a Dino light. It was their cheapest one. The only difference between the one I have and the more expensive one....other than $200, was that it had a polarizing feature. Not worth $200. Total spent was $400 which included the stand and stand extender if you wanted to take pics of slabs. I probably wouldn't have bought the stand extender, but they had a "sale" on it and Im a sucker for sales. LOL!

My original scope was a Chinese knock off and cost me $30 on ebay. It wasn't too bad and actually has more features than the Dino, but the Dino has better quality pics as you can see.
If you have a question, please ask. Remember, there are no stupid questions.....just stupid people who ask questions.
