CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Coin show - CINA Spring Coin Show - Springfield, IL - March 23rd 2025

    33rd Annual CINA Spring Coin Show, Sunday March 26, 2023. Northfield Center I, 3210 Northfield Drive, Springfield IL. 9a,-4pm, Members and children under 16 free, General public $1, Early Bird admission 7-9am $20. Contact Steve Butler 217-528-7634 for more information.

    We will have a CONECA table out front with admissions to the show - Far right. The above date was an error in show schedule.

    Evening. The first coin show went without a hitch. We gave away almost all the issues of errorscope and gave everyone a copy of the sign up sheet to join Coneca. We had 1 dealer try to also give us a check - we told him to mail, and also gave him an RPM. We had alot of young folks try to guess the error - the error was a filled 9 of the date which we gave them when they figured it out alot of folks just passed by and asked is this free? we gave them a copy of Errorscope and a sign up sheet. All went well. Cheers!!
