Hello CONECA, I am looking at a nice 1949S Jefferson Nickel. The coin is PCGS 47397458 and is graded MS65. The coin is similar to the pictures of WRPM-006 from DD. Die Markers: Obverse: N/S die scratch above the forehead. Reverse: Mostly N/S die scratch above and below MONTICELLO are present. Thoughts or comments?

I looked at the Wexler listings also. Your variety has both an upper and lower serif. Most of what I see including WRPM006 have only one split serif. To me W002 is closer in Look but the mintmark position is different in relation to the steps of Monticello and the lower loop of the mintmark. Yours is more centered - which is close to RPM004. I don't believe this one is listed, but to be honest; with those tilted Monticello photo's I really cannot tell position for sure.
