2007 P Wyoming Quarter - Possible Saddle Horn Variety Error

Hi everyone! My name is Brandon, and I'm new to the Coneca forum. I've been checking pocket change and coin rolls for just over 1.5 years now, and love it!

I was searching a quarter roll and came up with what looks like a possible variety error on a 2007 P Quarter near the saddle horn. It looks like a decent spread just under the horn.

What does everyone think? I put this under the scope and it doesn't appear to be PMD, but I'm no expert. Hope the photos are clear enough to tell

I should note that I haven't noticed any other spreading on or around the coin.

Hello Brandon, Welcome to the forum!
The coin is well circulated, and I think that is why your not seeing the flat shelf like doubling. I think that is what it is. I think this is just MD.
Thanks for posting, the photo's are nice and clear!

Thanks for responding! So, definitely not a variety error? That's a bummer. I'd gone through a few variety pics/sites online and it seemed to line up with a potential variety or two for this coin (http://varietyvista.com/09c%20WQ%20V...%20quarter.htm) but I know the eyes can play tricks on ya.
