    1983 D Possible DDO?

I was going through my Denver mint Lincoln Cents when I came across a 1983 D Lincoln Cent that looks like a possible DDO. I didn't find it on Wexler, but it doesn't seem like Machine Doubling to me either. I am not the greatest telling the difference between the two but it doesn't seem li 20240215_185638.jpg ke Machine doubling. Thoughts?
I am going to add better full pictures of the coin in a few.

    Hello Chad,
What you are seeing on the outer loop of the 9 and the inner loop of the 8 - all in the same direction is Die Deterioration Doubling. Not a variety, but a good reference piece. BTW nice photo's - I can see the coin close up and in focus. That is a must.
    Thanks for posting.
    Eric

There are alot of doubled columns - minor varieties - in the 1998 to 2006 date range. Just look for the extra column on both sides of Lincoln in the Monticello.
The doubled obv dates are definately findable - just go look at Wexler/VV/ CC and the CML when it is updated. There you can find the minor OBV double dies by date so you don't have to look at everything.

Chad, Here is one I posted for another thread. They are out there and in many rolls as I said before. This is what you need to look for with different links and sizes. There is ALOT of this minor stuff out there.

Thanks Eric. I appreciate the help and patience. I am still plugging through the coins. I am in the middle of checking out a pile of foreign older coins
