    Hello James,
By your discription you believe there is a double ear and an RPM. The reason you havn't recieved a response: the ear, to me appears to have post mint damage - a bag mark or another coin has caused a hit to the ear area. I tried to enlarge your photo. For reference this is about how close you will have to be for us to give you an oppinion. I cannot tell from the photo presented, It's over pixeled when enlarged.
    Sorry, Eric Coneca_1970-S_Enlarged.jpg

        James,
The problem is they are to far away. Plus I would bet your taking those photo's in the ""Standard"" position of the camera or phone which is 600px - I changed my pixel ratio on my camera to ""Fine"" so I could zoom the resolution in and not affect the clearness of the photo when it is cropped and zoomed in.
If I remember correctly "fine" puts the photo at 1500 - 2500 pixels per square inch.
        I hope this helps.
        Eric
