CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Is this a good indication for a doubleddie?

since there are NONE known for the year/mm, i'd call it a bad indication.

while the images aren't bad per se, they are way too blurry and/or oddly lit for such fine close-up attribution work. (imo)

idk if this can be overcome with your setup by trying different lighting and/or angles?

      Hello N-7699,
To me I believe you have a DDR. It maybe minor but since None are listed it has a very good chance of being listed - Congrats on a nice find!
If you want to have it attributed then go to Coneca services: Post the photo's there. If you intend to have it attributed then PM me or respond here.
I will move your post to the attributions section if you would want someone to look at the coin.
      Eric

Thank you both for your comments. I posted the pictures on the Attributions Forum. If it's a winner I do intend to have the coin attributed. I'm new to your site. I'm still stumbling around. Thanks again.
