CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

  • 2022-P 1C unlisted DDR

Hey everyone, I am excited to say I think I may have found a second doubled variety of the 2022-P 1C DDR. I attributed the first ddr to CONECA and soon will also have it listed on Wexlers. It is the 2022-P DDR-001 on Variety Vista for reference (I did not attribute that one). I have 4 or 5 examples in hand of what I thought were all 001's but after finding this one and looking at them all again, this is not the 001. It is stronger and does have a slight rotation to the doubling as well. I will post this in the attribution section as well. Notice the bottom of the N for example..it has a stronger spread and is also spread a little more to its left then the 001.

    Paul,
Very odd these only show on the lower extremities, "The bases" I'm not sure what I think so we will wait to see other's oppinions.
BTW - Double Die and RPM posts belong in the variety forum. I'm moving this now.

Sorry about that, I've always posted DD's in the mint error forum. Won't happen again.
