In my opinion, i suggest you look at varietyvista.com and notice how far off the doubling is for DDO-001 and DDO-002.
http://varietyvista.com/01b%20LC%20D...DDO%201972.htm
Additionally there was a problem with the master die in 1972. About half of the 1972 minted coins were affected by the master die doubling. I think it was close to 1.5 billion coins.
https://www.lincolncentforum.com/197...-die-doubling/
The list below basically applies to all of the 1972 Philadelphia Lincoln cents that are a true doubled die.
The base of LIB of LIBERTY is noticeably spread apart.
There may be significant separation of the 72 in the date.
If the following items are present on the 1972 Lincoln cent, it may not be a true doubled die:
The big lthings to look for are the hunch backed T's in LIBERTY and TRUST.
The N within IN, may appear broken on the far right side.
No separation of LIB in LIBERTY
I highly suggest reading the article above which can assist in correctly identifying a true 1972 LMC doubled die.

Late entry. Yes! there are different varieties, Im unable to match exactly with my equipment. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Next Ill post in the General forum for a better scope. For now Ill put the coin to the side and hopefully not loose it (happens all the time)_

Morning Conan62,
I took a quick look this morning. My focus was the doubling on ""God"" I'm not completely sure but the closest I see is Die 6 from the doubling position.
I would check the State "C" markers since I do not clearly see the die gouge Rim to D of God in your photo's on Variety Vista.
