CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

For some reason I'm having the darnedest time with getting these "spiked heads" down to specs for JC on his website 800x800 & 350x350. Now, I'm not the most tech savvy at all and have a couple programs including the one recommended. I believe the new pictures should be HD enough.

There is FREE software that will work. I use the following. For Windows & Mac,
GIMP GIMP - GNU Image Manipulation Program
IrfanView IrfanView - Official Homepage - One of the Most Popular Viewers Worldwide
What kind of problem are you having?
The key to getting the 800x800 and 350x350 images is cropping a square (“height = width” ) out of your original image using GIMP. Next resize to 350 or 800 using IrfanView. If your square is off less than 5 pixels you can turn off “Preserve aspect ratio” and change width & Height to the 350 or 800 size.
DO NOT correct the image size if the square crop is more than 5 pixels as the aspect ratio will be off, make a new crop.
Detailed instructions can be found in the link below.

Other software products do the same thing, but I like the FREE in these two.
The Obverse image in this post is 800x794, re-crop it and get it to 800x795 the resize it to 800x800 using whatever software you're using with Preserve aspect ratio OFF.
