Machine Doubling?
First off, thanks to everyone who responded to my last post, I believe this is just another example of machine doubling, but wanted to make sure. Any info would be helpful.
Thanks WIN_20241027_17_08_04_Pro.jpg WIN_20241027_17_07_50_Pro.jpg WIN_20241027_17_07_57_Pro.jpg WIN_20241027_17_07_54_Pro.jpgTags: None

Hello MJammann,
You are correct there is some MD Machine Damage Doubling but there is also Die wear or Die Fatigue Doubling. Notice it's in different directions. Roosevelt's neck or base looks very high like the metal is rolling away from the die or very hot. then the mintmark has East MD and the back of the head is west MD.
None of this carries any value other than 0.10C but it is a nice reference coin.
Thanks for posting.
Eric
