CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    1985-D RPM#06 - Any Help Please.

Does anyone here have a copy of this RPM?
Does your copy have the same markers in photo #3 and #4 - what the white arrow points to? These to me look like die gouge dots but since this IS zinc could also be bubbles.
Please let me know Yes or No for each of these photo's
    Thank You

I typically collect only copper rpms. But, I did buy a collection about 6 years ago that had some zinc rpms in the boxes. I have to visit the storage unit o er the next couple of days. If I find one, I will look it over to see if the PUPs/markers match up. No guarantees I even have one. Nothing against effort, but ummm that collection I bought was over 5000 rpms. I think it might have had 40 or zinc rpms, if that. More to follow.

Morning Gary, I'm just looking for a little verification of a good marker. If another variety, down the road pops up with the same type of doubled mintmark then the marker's are the only way to seperate die to die. WIll it happen? No guarentee's..

Went to the storage unit today since it was in the 60s today. I did not find one. I found Rpms 001 and 008. I only have like 15 zinc rpms total.

Digging on the web I found this.
        https://doubleddie.com/2984737.html

John Wexlers 1985 D WRPM 010 is CONECA RPM 006.
I don't know if you looked at John's photos but they do not reveal much.
I know who ever runs that site now may still keep John's desires to use the photos for private use only, so I wont copy any of it here.

Apologize for not being able to offer more, I am just not a fan of zinc cents nor single squeeze doubled dies.

I did look there first Gary, Most of the rest of the "Dies"" I had a question on I could find at least ""One"" marker that showed between my coin(s) and either Wexler or CC, if I could not find the marker then I did not add a reference photo on ""Nothing"" being there. I don't want to add un nessassary marker photo's if these are bubbles. The Zincs have very few markers that seem to appear on different dates from different periods of the dies life. I only want to shoot and add what is actually ""Verifiable"" to the particular die.
