CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1941 Double Die cent ???

    This is definitely a doubled die, and a very nice one to boot. This one is DDO-002. Congrats on a great find.

        It is hard to judge what conditon your coin is in just by the close up. However, a F-12 goes for about $35.00 for this die.

          1941-P DD ??

          Thanks for the post Sore Eyes... I have so many 1941 Lincoln Cents. For some reason I seem to just focus on the Date...I should open my mouth and insert foot huh ?? LOL for admiting that one... I guess I should get them out and go though them. Thanks. I forgot I had them till I saw your post..

            The double die obverses for the 1941P cent numbers in the 20s...close to 30. A lot of the 'Full T over Broken T' types are out there. CONECA lists 23 DDOs for the date, and coppercoins lists 31.
