CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1946 S CONECA RPM 31 ?!

    I was at storage rummaging around in the safes and I found a tube of five coins labeled 1946 S RPM's.
    I remembered that the 1946S had some pretty nice RPM's so I decided to bring them home, and eventually get them put online.

    These were a slight pain in the backside to find a match. There are so many that look the same, in respect to the position of the mint mark.
    The overlay I did seemed to match best with CONECA RPM-031.
