1943 - S Mercury Dime, Trumpet Tail Mintmark Variety?
I think this might be a Trumpet Tail Mintmark Variety FS-10-1943S-511. The mint state isn't great but I am seeing the top serif of the S as pointed downward and the lower serif rounded even in the worn down condition. Wanting other opinions on this. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Hello Jess,
I've got to admit, I looked at Cherrypicker's guide 4th addition, My most recent copy, the photo there is a BU but doesn't show the important parts of the mintmark to me, then I went to VV and looked at Dr. Wiles's MM-004 example and it's more circulated with damage then the coin you have above. I then went to my copy of Walter Breen's book to see if there was anything there. Nope. Not even a reference. I'm sorry I won't comment, mainly because I'm not completely sure.
Happy Holidays
Eric
