    1943 P DDO-023?

Do you think this coin matches the Jefferson nickel VV 1943 P DDO-023? I like how the letters "GOD" and the star/19 shown in my photos match the examples in the Variety Vista listing. I could not find any other pick up points. Thanks for your thoughts & reasons why or why not. The coin looks better in person than my full size photos but I'll take the blame for that.

I love the separation on the base of the G! I can't say I've looked through all the DDO's but it certainly looks promising IMO! Any more pics of the rest of the date for example to continue to compare different elements to the VV photos definitely would not hurt!

Thanks, awesome find! Have a great week!

Thanks Ryan. Per your suggestion I'm including a picture of the full date. I'm also adding the "In" frim IGWT. It might be wishful thinking but I can almost see the seperation shown in the Variety Vista photo? I could not find an equivilant listing in the Doubledie site. I can't see any of the other VV PUP's on this coin but the the nontch in the star and the "GOD" lead me to DDO-023. Is this enough to tip the scale?

Think about MDD (Machine Damage Doubling), or die deterioration, looks like that to me on GOD.
