    1944 p rpm-008 Jefferson?

I'm making the case to match this coin to the VV 1944 P RPM-008 Jefferson example. I did the exercise of sizing photos of the VV sample and my coin & comparing them in Paint.net (photos shown below). I'm not sure if the slight variations are due to my sizing efforts... Thanks for your thoughts. My coin has die cracks in the hair but many coins in this era do... Will post additional photos if this post passes the 1st cut

Ron, I looked at my XF example and it still shows the die scratches in the right wing bay. That is a better marker since they still show on a lower grade coin. Mine does not show the filled in upper "P" so if it is an RPM then it's later die state than State "B". Do you see a serif just under the primary serif? show us a photo of That.

If you don't see a serif and no marker. I would guess, since I don't have coin in hand; it's a filled "P" LDS/VLDS coin. No way to verify if was an RPM.

Thanks for the photos of the coin from your collection! My coin does not have the serif or the die scratch. I'm putting it back in the roll.
