1955 S. Dime RPM not listed
I found this the other day. I can’t find a rpm listed. Maybe a triple S. Any thoughts also it’s a bugs bunnyLast edited by pennies4pennies; 03-09-2026, 07:30 PM.Tags: None

Any chance of getting a full reverse shot ? I see a full obverse but no reverse.
I give a helpful post on taking photos with a cellphone in my signature block.
The post aims at offering a nice clear photo with little glare and properly focused.
Your photos are decent but when i try to zoom in with the tablet, it gets a touch grainy

In my opinion, the bugs bunny is tied to the Franklin Half Dollar, I doubt it has found or documented on any other denomination.
As far as the rpm possibilty, I will ask eaxtellcoin to look this over.
Typically, if an rpm hasnt been found for over a decade, then its typically something else. This kind of has that localized machine damage look to it, but I would like Eric to confirm.

Alrighty then. I will keep most of my comments about the Cherry Pickers guide to myself. Looking at it historically one can see what issues this series has had.
It had its bright and shiny moments when Bill Fivaz and J.T. Stanton were more involved.
Since 2002, the United States Mint has done a very good job at substantially reducing the amount of mint errors and varieties that escape the mint. So I believe that they may have to scramble to find entries for this sort of publication.
A Fitting end to the Cherry Picker series would be for them to compile a complete listing of all the FS numbered entries in several books, all coming out in the same year. I personally think they should drop the pricing as well. This way, the books are a reference that wont go outdated.Last edited by MintErrors; 03-11-2026, 01:03 PM.

Evening Frank, Gary.. Sorry to me a bit to respond.
I just cannot tell much from the photo's presented. What is to the East, to me; with the photo's presented looks more like MD. I cannot tell if there are any serifs. Frank try to get us photos of them if they are there. This looks more like MD / shelf doubling to me.
Sorry.
Eric
