    Lincoln 1948P New DDO?

    Hey everyone,

I believe I have found a new DDO on this 1948P Lincoln cent. It is at the eye lid it seem to feature a strong doubled eye lid to the northeast of the primary eyelid. I have looked on Variety Vista, Wexler's, and Copper Coins and can find no match. I have included images for your review. If you need any other images I will be more than happy to provide them.

    Thanks in advanced!

    Morning and hello RGuined,
That's an interesting coin and does not resemble any listed Double Dies on any of the sites.
    1) From the close up I also see MD around the profile of Lincoln's forehead and nose. I'm leaning more towards MD.
    2) One other issue is the coin is a Circ. Circulated coins are terrible to list, because most of the marker's are either gone/worn or cannot be verified if marker or damage.
    3) Double eye's are considered minor.
    I hope this helps.
    Eric
