CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Lincoln 1939S New DDO?

    Got another one,

    This 1939S Lincoln Cent shows Doubling under the eye lid, full forehead, and nose. Also shows doubling in the bowtie as well as extra thickness in the 2nd 9 with doubling on the back side.

    I have looked at Variety Vista, Wexler's, and Copper Coins and couldn't find any matches.

    Hello RGuined,
    I like your camera set up, close, in focus and nice photo's - Good Job!
    I think this again is MD. All the strike doubling is in the same direction. Notice the flat shelf under the nose is just like the 9 of the date?
    That's a nice coin. It's just doesn't look like a double die in my oppinion.
