    1934 D Washington quarter D/D

Going through old treasures I found the Quarter in the photos. It appears to be a D/D mint mark, possibly stamped more that twice. Am interested in
    others assessment of what I believe. 1934 D:D (A).jpg 1934 D:D (B).jpg 1934 D:D (C).jpg 1934 D:D (D).jpg
Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks Steve

In my opinion, its not going to be rpm number 2, The mintmark position for number 2 is quite higher.
I am on the fence on this one for being rpm 001.
When I get back in the office tomorrow If i can get to it tomorrow morning, i will attempt an overlay. That should help. No promises, but I will do my best.

I did the overlay. It was a bit of an ordeal since both of he photos I used were so different in size.
It looks really close to being RPM-001.
Maybe @eaxtellcoins will come in here and offer his opinion as well.

Since I used a photo from a website that has some restrictions on using their photos, I wont post the overlay here.

We can go back to the reference and see if Variety Vista offers any markers / pick up points.
We can check https://conecaonline.info (CONECA master list) to see if they have quarters listed.

            Gary,
I'm having trouble getting to the Errorscope issue 10/3 showing on the master listing for the 1934 D RPM-001. I'm guessing it is operator error of
not understanding the necessary pathway to access past issues. Any help would be appreciated.
            Thanks again, Steve

Disregard the last I found it and will see what is there. Hope I got this to you before you had to spend your time trying to help.

I'm moving this post to the ""Varieties"" part of the forum, then I will finish the overlay and respond back. At least until I get booted out for a half hour!

Sorry late responding. Booted out again after one post and not back until now. The reference photo appears a bit tilted L to R probably to cut down on glare, but to me it's most likely RPM#01 to the West, MD to the South.

MD on any part of the coin, in my past experiance; an attributer would not use the photo's. To difficult to explain to a person what they were seeing was not the RPM and where the actual RPM was.

Hehe, its Ok, i have been working outside putting up a new privacy fence this week. Spring is here and I spend a ton of time outdoors, as long as the weather is good and temps are below 80F.

Fyi, i also have most of the notifications turned off in here to cut down on the number of emails i used to get. I try to double back on some posts, but not all of them.

I am glad Eric agrees with the RPM 001 assessment.

Thanks again to both of you. The only marker of any kind to help was the note that RPM-001 was on a coin with ODV-002. I am attaching a new photo that I believe shows ODV-002 on this coin.

I dont have this 25c, so i cannot be of much help. I was looking at that raised scratch line that goes from Washington's throat, under TRUST at a 45 degree angle towards the rim. It depends on die state of course. That is the type of marker or pick up point that one might be able to find a match. John Wexler over at doubleddie.com might have this coin listed and he might have some better markers/pick up points. I will head over there shortly.
