Just wanted to share with y'all: I recently discovered a new DDR on the 1951 Franklin Half, and after submitting it to Mr. Wiles, he has listed it as DDR-005: 5-R-VIII. It is very prominent, easily seen with the naked eye, and I'm surprised it escaped detection this long. It shows at the bottom of the bell, on the clapper, and along the bottom of the eagle. What I thought was particularly cool is there are also doubled bell lines, under magnification. It is currently slabbed as MS-64 FBL by NGC, and is a part of my award winning Franklin registry set (Best Presented 2008).
I have included the best pictures I could take of it, but I'm sure Mr. Wiles has better pictures if he wants to share.
