1949 D ROOSEVELT DIME RPM-001?
I came across a 1949 Roosevelt dime and the mint mark looks to me like a possible RPM-001. The coin is currently in a NGC Holder 5821253-022 MS65FT. The coin does not have the die markers of the Stage C coin (Die Crack from Flame to Rim or Die Chip on Nose). I have attached some pictures of the mint mark for some feedback.Tags: None

All the photo's are from the same position. The first photo appears to be Shelf Doubling, then the darker photo's to me do not help. No offence rbroederer but may want to turn the coins position and shoot from a different angle, then see if shelf like. I do not for sure see a split serif. I checked the photo's of RPM#1, this is NOT that die, mintmark position is not correct. How can I tell? your primary mintmark partially sits over the tail of the torch. RPM#1 barely touches and is more West than your coin.

Thanks for helping Eric.
With RPMs one has to make sure the mintmark is in the right position - first - markers come later. Being it is in a different place precludes it from being RPM-001. It could be machine doubling from the first photo.Jason Cuvelier
