CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Okay I'm excited about this one. Found while roll searching a couple of days ago. Matches Wexler's description well with the markers. Overlay matched up well too.

    That looks like the OMM listed. Nice find. I do not have this one, so I have not studied it. It seems to me that OMMs, 001, 002, 003 and maybe 004, 006 and 012 are the only probable OMMs with the 1955D Jeffersons. The others I am not convinced about, at least not yet. I'd also like to see an earlier die state for OMM-001.

      That is nice - no doubt about that one. I found one at a show last year that is Very Very Late Die state. It's almost to the point nothing is left. I'm not ready to try and photograph mine, the inner curve is very weak to the field and no marker's left.
      Nice coin to always find in a roll. Did you find more then one? I've noticed, in recent years, that folks are putting one coin back in the roll for us to find, AND buy more rolls..
