Two places to look for info on the year of Nickel you are looking at are:
If this is not listed there, then it's an uphill battle to "convince" an attributor that you may have a "discovery" piece that has not been listed in the last 60+ years.
Back in the day, the Die was created first, then later on the mint mark was added. It's not impossible to see a DDR and and RPM, but it's not a common thing.
I THINK I can see something at the base of EPU, but what I don't see is any sort of split serifs. This could indicate it is shelf- like mechanical doubling. I am trying to assess this from a pretty far distance and I must admit, nickels aren't something I personally attribute.

I cannot tell from the photos. DDR-001 is somewhat minor and the RPM is as well. From Wiles' photos I'd say that lower AMERICA is the pick up point for the class doubling. I'd want to see separation and a split in those serifs.Jason Cuvelier

The coin above I do not see the Double Die. The RPM is hard to see in his photo also, plus if this is a copy; it is very late die state. Compare my die scratches to Dr.Wiles's photo - none of these appear on the coin presented. Here is a copy of RPM#4 in EDS notice the doubling on the last "A" of America.
