CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    This one is one of those that I really don't know what to say about it. Whatever it is, it seems to be extremely minor, and some of it doesn't seem to follow the normal diagnostics for hub doubling...specifically, where the doubling is on the motto. Either way, this one would be too minor to list if it can be proven to be hub doubling.

      I think we are seeing some machine doubling on the ear, maybe die wear or MD elsewhere. I agree with Bob, it's just too minor and uncharacteristic for hub doubling.
