CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Hi there. New to this forum. However, I have previously used Mr. Wiles services. Was wondering how I now go about having someone look at a variety, for possible attribution for the CONECA listings?? I came across this variety and saw that Mr. Wexler did have it listed for his files. Several months back, I sent one off to Chuck Daughtrey for attribution. He too, listed it as an OMM (see link provided). I have included some images of one of the examples. The arrows were there to indicate everything EXACT about the mint mark, when compared to Wexler's listing. They are from a previous Facebook post I made. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

You had already posted a thread for this coin and I have addressed it. There is no need to do it again.

Well actually Bob, I had it posted here, in the forum for "die varieties" first (see date and time stamp). Secondly, I posted in the forum for "attributions" today (again, see date and time stamp), because I felt that would probably be the most appropriate place. I did not see that particular forum yesterday. I can already tell this isn't the type of place for me. From what I heard from others, I didn't think it was, as it wasn't for them either, but I thought I would give it a try. Please disregard my inquiry entirely. Your tact and attribution services are NOT something I am interested in.

I don't know what flew up your nose, or what is wrong with you. You posted the same coin multiple times. Our rules say you shouldn't do that. I don't look for dates and time stamps, and quite frankly, an attitude like yours shouldn't be here in the first place. I addressed your concerns in another post and my job as the moderator is to moderate. If you can't deal with that, then you are free to leave. There was no malicious intent on my part, but obviously there was on yours. Since my tact and attribution services are of no concern to you, I will close this post now and disregard your inquiry per your request.
