  • Wanted to share possible1964 D/S omm quarter?

Hello Coneca Community. I'm a new member & this is my first post. Hope I'm in the right place. I wanted to share some pictures of what appears to me to be a 1964 D/S omm Washington quarter. After reading some communications on another forum (Collectors Universe) on the transition in1964 from silver to clad & how the San Fran mint was striking 64 silver quarters into 1965 & even 66 according to a SFO mint report, but the report did not say with or without S mint mark? So I came across this quarter in my collection & would appreciate your feedback. I did not see any other such coins out there. I hope the pictures are adequate. Thx for your time.

I am sorry, but your close up photo is just not clear enough to be able to make a determination. From what I can make out, I think I am seeing a raised area inside the mint mark. RPM-001 for the date has that mark so it is possible it is a secondary D. If you haven't already done so, check your coin with the listing here:
